Grade 12IB students:
All grade 12 IB students have received anInternal Assessment Calendar for the year. Internal Assessments are major pieces of work required bythe IB in the various subjects. There has been a concerted effort from the IB Faculty to ensure that nomajor assignments are due at the same time. Consequently, the students are now equipped with informationto better plan their entire school year. Naturally, there will be times where more than one assignment is due ata time. However, no key pieces aredue the same week. This calendaralso includes the May 2010 exam dates and duration. This calendar is also posted on the school website under theInternational Baccalaureate heading.

Lookingfor CAS opportunities?
I strongly advise those students who’ve selfdeclared as being full IB in Grade 11 to begin their CAS projects. Several of you already have. However, if you’re still wonderingwhere your heart takes you insofar as CAS, you don’t have to look far at all!On-campus opportunities include Student Council, Just(e) Cause and thelike. We’re also looking for thoseinterested in starting a CAS project for needy high school students in ourdivision itself. You don’t have tolook far in order to make a difference.
